Institutional Sales Leadership Role

A leading investment firm with a substantial presence in the industry is seeking an experienced Director of Institutional Sales to drive its sales efforts forward. With assets under management exceeding several billion dollars, this firm has established itself as a prominent player in private equity, private credit, and infrastructure.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading fundraising efforts, targeting institutional investors across the East Coast. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on the firm's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve capital-raising targets and expand the investor base.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key allocators, including pension funds, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and other influential investors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to effectively communicate the firm's value proposition and investment strategies.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional sales within the investment management industry.
- A proven track record of raising capital from institutional investors, preferably for funds and direct investments in renewable infrastructure, private equity, or private credit.
- Strong existing relationships with institutional investors across the East Coast region.
- Experience working at a placement agent is highly advantageous.
- A deep understanding of the investment landscape, particularly within the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to drive fundraising success and meet ambitious targets.
The estimated salary range for this role is between $150,000 and $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
