Overview:

American Family Care NW Fresno is seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease through the performance of radiographic and diagnostic imaging procedures.


Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients, explain procedures, and position them appropriately for diagnostic imaging.
  • Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques and ensure compliance with approved radiology standards.
  • Process images, review for proper identification, and quality control.
  • Prepare images for reading by physicians and radiologists.
  • Aid providers with prescribed treatments according to approved standards.
  • Maintain equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs as needed.
  • Complete forms, maintain records, and logs of work performed.

Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
  • ARRT-registered or board eligible preferred.
  • Licensed per state regulation.

Estimated Salary:

$54,000 - $70,000 per year based on location and experience.
