Physician Office Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Office Clinical Nurse to join our team at McLeod Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our physicians and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians in assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including triage, assessment, procedures, treatments, patient education, and discharge instructions.
- Formulate and document patient databases, including vital signs, history, and chief complaint.
- Perform specialized tests and procedures as needed, such as audiometry, electrocardiography, and selected laboratory procedures.
- Prepare medications and administer injections as ordered by physicians.
- Apply splints and assist with treatments and procedures as needed.
- Provide patient education and schedule testing and referral appointments as necessary.
- Consult with patients on telephone calls and perform follow-up calls as needed.
- Clean and maintain examination rooms, including equipment and instruments.
- Set up and maintain equipment, and notify management of any malfunctions.
- Maintain medical supply inventory, check expiration dates, and dispose of outdated medications.
- Order medical supplies and assist drug representatives as needed.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of equipment needed to perform duties.
- At least one year of experience in a clinical setting.
- Valid SC RN license and BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
This position requires the ability to work in a hospital setting and round with physicians as needed.
