About the Role:

Gartner, a world-renowned research and advisory company, seeks a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to drive business growth in key regional accounts.

This role is pivotal in setting strategy for major regional accounts of substantial strategic and revenue-generating importance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in consultative sales, preferably in high-technology industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive new business within top-tier accounts.
  • Maintain executive relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor.
  • Account management with a focus on increasing customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
  • Quota responsibility aligned to specific strategic accounts.
  • Mastery of Gartner's internal sales methodology and large account planning.
  • Forecast accuracy management on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and fiscal responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of external experience in consultative sales, preferably in high technology.
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within large multi-national companies.
  • Strong intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
  • Proven ability to build excellent client relationships, offer value-added insights, and strategic guidance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and extensive industry knowledge.
  • Strong computer proficiency, excellent written and oral/presentation skills.
