Primary Care Physician Opportunity
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team at the Department of Veteran Affairs. As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to veterans enrolled in our program.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary medical care to patients with a variety of physical and/or behavioral problems
- Document observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition
- Collaborate with other health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes
Requirements:
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia
- Must have a degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Work Environment:
The VA Healthcare System uses a comprehensive electronic medical record and is dedicated to providing primary medical care via a patient-centered medical home model. Physician will be assigned a patient panel of 1000-1200 patients.
Benefits:
- Salary Range: $240,000 - $270,000 per year
- A recruitment/relocation incentive may be authorized for a highly qualified candidate
- Selected candidate may be eligible to apply for student loan repayment thru the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)
