Computed Tomography Technician Job Opportunity

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Rockingham, NC.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography Technician to provide high-quality patient care and support our healthcare team. As a Computed Tomography Technician, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of waste
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor patients' responses to procedures and report any concerns to the healthcare team
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Computed Tomography Technician
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, and lift equipment
