Ascension Saint Thomas is seeking a skilled Pulmonology Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Pulmonology Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the supervision of a provider.
- Perform clinical duties, including vital sign measurements and recording patient information.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Document patient encounters and follow-up instructions.
- Transcribe patient orders and maintain accurate records.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification within 3 months of hire date.
- High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
