The estimated salary for this position is around $35,000-$45,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

About the Job
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. As a PCT, you will assist licensed nurses with various tasks, such as taking vital signs, performing basic laboratory tests, and providing assistance with daily living activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe patient care environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed nurses with direct and indirect patient care.
  • Obtain and record initial and ongoing patient information, including vital signs, height, and weight.
  • Assist patients with mobility, using walkers, crutches, canes, and wheelchairs as needed.
  • Collect specimens for diagnostic or waived tests.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date. You should also possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
