Trio Development is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their team in the Newton area.

This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, office management, and human resources duties.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a savvy personality, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

They must be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

The following requirements must be met:

  • Experience in bookkeeping
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
  • Employee payroll management
  • Bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations
  • Human resources duties, including maintaining employee files, onboarding, and employee time tracking
  • Managing vehicle requirements
  • Tracking insurance bills, renewals, and following up with agents on special issues or requests
  • Investigating, analyzing, and resolving accounting problems
  • Communicating with staff and customers about accounting data
  • Using software applications to create financial statements
  • Processing invoices and credit memos
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable expenses
  • Invoicing and checking
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Providing P&L delivery
  • Communicating with vendors regarding A/P and A/R
