As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, taking vital signs, and providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN).
Key Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain related medical records.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs and observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
- Restock medication inventories and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Provide direct patient care and ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations.
