Diesel Mechanic Lead Opportunity
US Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Lead to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining fleet road equipment while ensuring compliance with trucking regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and refrigeration units.
- Perform preventative maintenance within company standards to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Complete repair documentation and maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Provide road service and rescue support as needed to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to workplace safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers and other colleagues.
