We are collaborating with a school district to fill an Occupational Therapist position for the 2024-2025 academic year.

The district prefers candidates with experience in schools but welcomes all qualified OTs to apply. This full-time role will involve working with a K-12 caseload.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A current state license in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Location: Near the Kingston, Pennsylvania area
