Seeking a skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team at Orion Talent in Columbus, OH. As an Industrial Automation Specialist, you will work with a team of technicians onsite to maintain, troubleshoot and repair automation equipment within a state-of-the-art warehouse/distribution center.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have good hands-on experience with industrial equipment and related automation and control systems. Familiarity with HMI and SCADA is preferred, as is experience with PLC and automation troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance activities about the automated equipment on-site, such as conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks and carton-opening systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible. Lead maintenance efforts on complex issues that require in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Work individually or with other team members to complete work assignments as assigned.
  • Adhere to quality standards, while complying with all health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance in accordance with established standards and schedules.
Requirements
  • Good hands-on experience (both mechanical and electrical) with industrial equipment and related automation and control systems.
  • Familiarity with HMI and SCADA is preferred.
  • Experience with PLC and automation troubleshooting is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $28.25-$33.50 per hour.
