About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at OTC Services, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

Job Responsibilities
  • Obtain quotes for price and delivery from vendors, taking into account factors such as quality, reliability, and lead time.
  • Work closely with the Sourcing Manager to ensure that procurement decisions align with company goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production teams and management, to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree is preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in office administration or purchasing is required; one year of purchasing experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

The Procurement Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel to vendor sites and meetings. The position requires regular interaction with colleagues and external partners, and may involve working at heights or in areas with exposure to fumes.
