Clinical Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team as a Clinical Dietitian - Nutrition Therapy Specialist. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal medical nutrition therapy, identifying patients at risk and assessing their nutrition needs according to age-specific physiological and developmental assessment criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, coordinate, and implement nutrition care plans, monitoring outcomes and adjusting as needed
• Participate in performance improvement, employee training, hospital committees, policy development, and menu/product review
• Evaluate and maintain professional development/competency
• Provide care to neonates to elderly clients in inpatient, outpatient, and shared service settings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Coordinated Program or Dietetic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic
• Internship or pre-professional practice program accredited by the Accreditation Counsel on Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND)
• Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed with the State of Iowa
