Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

Join our team of dedicated professionals at Mannheim School District 83 as a Speech Language Pathologist. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to assist in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.
  • Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students.
  • Work effectively with community organizations to provide support and resources for students and families.
  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations to determine the need for services.
  • Participate in the development of student IEPs and consult with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure student success.
  • Provide therapy, follow-up, and/or consultation based on student IEPs and motivate students through effective communication and evaluative feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Illinois Professional Educator License with Personnel endorsement in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Working Conditions:

This position is located in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment.
