Job Summary:

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team for a travel assignment in Connecticut. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of conditions, including respiratory failure, pneumonia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
  • Operate ventilators, oxygen therapy equipment, and other respiratory devices to support patient care.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests, including spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient care goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
