Critical Care Nurse Specialist for NICU Unit

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
About the Role:
- Specialize in caring for critically ill newborn infants, including premature and severely ill patients.
- Perform various medical procedures such as inserting intravenous lines, conducting tests, and administering medications.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, prioritizing their physical and emotional needs.
• Conduct thorough assessments, identify risks, and develop individualized care plans to address complex medical conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices, policies, and procedures to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A valid nursing license and relevant experience in critical care settings.
- Expertise in neonatal intensive care, preferably with certifications in NRP or RNC-NIC.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with colleagues and patients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
