The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix offers an exciting opportunity for nursing professionals to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with other healthcare providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
Job Summary:
This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care according to established standards of professional nursing practice. You will utilize your specialized knowledge and judgment to make informed decisions about patient care, ensuring that all interventions are evidence-based and aligned with our organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing individualized plans of care.
- Planning: Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized plans of care, prioritizing goals and objectives based on patients' unique needs and circumstances.
- Implementation: Provide direct patient care, administering medications, performing procedures, and coordinating care with other disciplines as needed.
- Evaluation: Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current RN licensure in the state of Arizona or compact RN licensure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; associate degree accepted with relevant experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be desired depending on area of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in medical-surgical or orthopedic settings preferred.
- Professional Development: Participation in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
