Job Summary:

KPMG is seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Manager to join our Managed Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of cloud-based platform applications, leading the design, build, test, and delivery of cloud platform solutions, and ensuring SLA and KPI adherence.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with industry/business subject area professionals, software engineers, and technical leadership to manage day-to-day operations of cloud-based platform applications.
  • Lead the design, build, test, and delivery of cloud platform solutions using industry-leading vendor technologies.
  • Manage onshore and offshore teams that provide Level 2/3 support, including break/fix, enhancements, reports, and upgrades to KPMG clients and users of cloud-based applications.
  • Deliver weekly and monthly status and performance reports, develop and distribute operational performance reports and analytics to applicable stakeholders, and manage client delivery by providing timely and accurate reporting with insights through Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Assess client requirements, build product-specific functional specifications, support the planning, preparation, and execution of future releases, and facilitate client discovery sessions to define project scope and translate business processes into functional/technical specifications and user stories.
  • Lead workshops and presentations of key solution design, technology architecture concepts, and demonstrations to client stakeholders, and work as part of a team to implement solutions in an Agile-SCRUM framework by writing epics and user stories.
  • Encourage communication of new ideas, innovation, suggestions, and problems, review for appropriate action or implementation, and manage service quality issues related to service level achievement, performance, and delivery quality, and oversee investigation and diagnosis of all incidents to identify problems and escalate unresolved incidents to external support.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent experience in post-production, managed services support, or consulting experience working directly with internal and external clients, including at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in the fields of management information systems, finance, supply chain, general business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with upgrades and functional testing, with an understanding of ITIL framework, ITSM, and service desk management.
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of standard processes and configurations across cloud applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, keen attention to detail, high level of accuracy in written and oral communication skills, and the ability to articulate ideas effectively.
  • Capability to work closely with a mixed team including project managers, technical consultants (both onshore and offshore), and clients to deploy and operate technology solutions, and able to identify a problem and enact a multi-step approach to research the cause and resolve.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
