About the Job

We are seeking a Guest Service Specialist to join our team at Juut Salonspa As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering an elevated customer experience to all JUUT guests. Your primary responsibilities will include checking-in guests, offering add-on appointments, escorting guests to waiting areas, and ensuring positive, uplifting experiences for all customers.

Key Accountabilities

  • ">
  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm welcome and offer them a beverage.">
  • Check-in guests, provide a tour of the salon, and suggest add-on appointments available following their scheduled appointment.">
  • Escort guests to the waiting area, hang up coats if necessary, and offer them a magazine or newspaper to read.">
  • Perform confirmation calls to guests and offer add-on services during the call.">
  • Check out guests by ringing the service ticket, closing out sales of retail products, and suggesting fitting products.">
  • Answer incoming guest calls, book appointments with the appropriate artist or therapist, and capture guest data completely and accurately.">
  • Make follow-up calls to new guests within 24 hours of their visit to ensure they had a positive experience.">
  • Stock retail shelves as needed when product is low or a retail product order is delivered.">
  • Clean retail shelves regularly to maintain a clean and organized environment.">
  • Responsible for all product knowledge, continuous product education, and answering product questions as a resource for guests.">
  • Monitor and refill beverage station items, keep the area clean and stocked.">
  • Organize magazines throughout the salon to ensure they are easily accessible to guests.">
  • Clean bathrooms and restock supplies and containers.">
  • Salon cleaning as determined by management.">
  • Knowledge of artists at the salon location, including services provided, specialties, and levels.">
  • Ability to reschedule appointments, block artist time in the computer system, distribute gratuities, and handle cash transactions.">
  • Ability to work during opening and closing hours, attend all training, education, and meetings/huddles as required, and assist with other duties as assigned.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.">
  • Some exposure to salon, cosmetics, hospitality, or retail business preferred.">
  • Customer Service experience preferred but not required.">
  • Training provided.">

Estimated Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
