Compensation: $18 per hour, full-time position with a limited on-call rotation.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards by addressing emergency maintenance requests, completing work orders efficiently, and ensuring open communication with residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and plan daily work orders in collaboration with the O&M Supervisor, focusing on tasks based on urgency and skill requirements.
  • Complete work orders promptly, guaranteeing cost-effective and quality-driven outcomes.
  • Carry out various tasks such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, janitorial, preventative maintenance, landscaping, and more.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with internal and external stakeholders regarding work progress and completion.
  • Maintain professional use of company resources, including vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Serve as an on-site representative of Uptown Rental Properties LLC, modeling professionalism and courtesy.
  • Act as a first point of contact for residents during after-hours shifts, ensuring efficient response to emergencies.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in operations or maintenance within a residential or similar setting is preferred.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete high-quality work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry necessary materials, maintain physical endurance, and adhere to all safety standards.
