Chicago, Illinois, United States Huron Consulting Group Inc. Full time

The Opportunity

Huron Consulting Group Inc. helps its clients drive growth, enhance performance, and sustain leadership in the markets they serve. We empower healthcare organizations to build innovation capabilities and accelerate key growth initiatives, enabling them to own the future instead of being disrupted by it. Together, we empower clients to create sustainable growth, optimize internal processes, and deliver better consumer outcomes.

Health systems, hospitals, and medical clinics face immense pressure to improve clinical outcomes and reduce the cost of providing patient care. Investing in new partnerships, clinical services, and technology is not enough to create meaningful and substantive change. To succeed long-term, healthcare organizations must empower leaders, clinicians, employees, affiliates, and communities to build cultures that foster innovation and achieve the best outcomes for patients.

As a Director at Huron, you will help our clients evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment and optimize existing business operations, improve clinical outcomes, create a more consumer-centric healthcare experience, and drive physician, patient, and employee engagement across the enterprise.

Their talents and leadership qualities instill passion and trust in clients, junior staff members, and Huron management. If you can lead teams, create customized solutions, and masterfully communicate on every level, then you can and will leave your mark on the future of consulting. Create a lasting impact at Huron.

  • Design and deliver customized solutions to achieve client business objectives, leveraging exceptional verbal communication and listening skills to understand client challenges and manage client expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8-10 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience, with at least 5 years focused in human capital management.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead projects of differing scale and duration with excellence.
