Cheese Specialist

Formaggio Kitchen Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Cheese Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers and helping us deliver an unparalleled shopping experience.

• Provide expert knowledge and guidance to customers on our extensive selection of cheeses and specialty products.
• Work closely with our team to maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest products, trends, and techniques in the specialty food industry.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of in-store promotions, events, and marketing initiatives.

• At least one year of experience in a specialty food retail environment, preferably as a cheesemonger or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Passion for food, cheese, and customer service, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.
