About the Role

We are seeking a talented Biomedical Equipment Technician I (BMET I) to provide clinical equipment services under the close supervision of TriMedx management.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation.

Additionally, the BMET I will perform planned maintenance inspections, calibrations, and repairs of general biomedical equipment, as well as assist other technicians in the troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate adherence to the TriMedx core values in all professional interactions by showing respect to all people, creating real value, initiating meaningful change, and exhibiting integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Validation and inspection of clinical equipment
  • Planned maintenance inspections, calibrations, and repairs
  • Assistance with troubleshooting and major repair of complex equipment
Requirements
  • 2-year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience
  • 3 months of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred
  • Valid driver's license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site
  • Complex computer skills including system administration, error code interpretation, and hardware replacement
