Project Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Jaynes Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage project logistics, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management.
- Provide technical assistance and support to project teams, including interpretation of drawings and construction methods.
- Initiate and maintain extra work estimating and issuance of change orders.
- Perform long-term planning, identify future roadblocks, and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Assume responsibility for cost control, productivity, efficient use of materials and equipment, and overall contractual performance of the project.
- 3-5 years of commercial construction experience in project management or project engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
- Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and applicable building and industry codes.
- Basic knowledge of construction contract law.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work rapidly and accurately with plans and computers.
- Ability to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including extreme weather conditions and noise levels.

This position frequently operates on site at construction projects. The role routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
