## Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Seasonal Recruiter to join our team at the Philadelphia Zoo. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to support our seasonal staffing needs during the peak season.

## Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
* Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates
* Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, job fairs, and networking events
* Review resumes and applications, conduct initial phone screens, and schedule interviews
* Conduct in-person and virtual interviews, assessing candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit
* Coordinate and facilitate the hiring process, including background checks, medical screens, and offer letters
* Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ADP)
* Provide regular updates to hiring managers and HR on recruitment progress and challenges
* Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles
* Participate in job fairs and community events to promote employment opportunities at the Philadelphia Zoo

## Requirements

* High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience
* Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in a high-volume or seasonal environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems, experience with ADP preferred
* Familiarity with various recruiting tools and techniques
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passion for the mission of the Philadelphia Zoo and commitment to diversity and inclusion
