**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Agricultural Credit Specialist to join our team at Capital Farm Credit. As a key member of our credit department, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and guidance on complex agricultural loans and leases.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with farmers, ranchers, and rural home owners across Texas, providing financial solutions that support their businesses and personal goals.

**Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial information, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows, to determine creditworthiness and recommend loan approvals or rejections.
  • Develop and manage loan portfolios, working closely with Loan Officers, Special Assets Officers, and Administrators to ensure timely loan servicing and collections.
  • Provide guidance on Association lending policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior-level credit officers to develop and implement credit risk management strategies, ensuring the integrity of our loan portfolio.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of borrower creditworthiness, making recommendations for loan modifications, extensions, or workouts as needed.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 6-7 years of experience in agricultural lending, with a strong background in credit analysis and loan underwriting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn new software systems quickly.
