Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Consultant to join our team as an On-Call Mental Health Consultant - Acute Care Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing crisis intervention and advocacy services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for clients in potentially life-threatening situations.
  • Facilitate access to emergency and crisis services, including coordination with 911, mobile outreach, and UWIC/Hawthorn.
  • Provide advocacy services for clients with contracted providers, as needed.
  • Triage and refer clients to MMH specialists for determination of specialty mental health services.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in psychology, social work, or counseling.
  • Current QMHP - R certification with the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
