Production Lead Role

The Production Lead is responsible for supervising team members in a manufacturing assembly environment. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creates a high-performance team environment focused on TT Electronics' success and emphasizes proactive communication, trust, and respect for everyone.
  • Delivers on daily, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics, working with the Value Stream Leader to develop relevant metrics for the team.
  • Proactively manages the daily schedule and ensures the manufacturing cell is performing to its weekly production plan.
  • Uses root cause problem-solving tools to determine the root cause of problems and generate corrective actions.
  • Assists in developing the team through on-going coaching and cross-training, conducting performance evaluations, and managing staffing.
  • Performs accurate member record keeping and promotes safety goals and awareness with team members.
  • Develops TWI job breakdowns and trains team members using the TWI method.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of working requirements of AS9100 quality standard is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of quality practices is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Two to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610/620 Certifications are required.
