About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Gastrointestinal Healthcare Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing medical knowledge in the field of gastroenterology.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and management of complex cases. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care and excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and management of complex cases.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to promote health and well-being.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Research: Participate in research activities to advance medical knowledge in the field of gastroenterology.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field with completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Certification: Certified as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland with certification in area of specialty.
  • Experience: Minimum one year experience as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
