Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Observability Monitoring Engineer to join our team at Navtech. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing monitoring solutions using Splunk and Datadog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement monitoring solutions using Splunk and Datadog
  • Build and maintain Splunk Cloud components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related issues
  • Manage Splunk ingestion/SVC usage and communicate chargeback data
  • Manage tool agent licensing, data ingestion, and resource tagging
  • Maintain/update administration dashboards for Datadog/Splunk platform health


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience with Splunk in one of the following areas: IT Operations, compliance, dev ops, network security, and system security
  • Minimum 1+ year experience working with Datadog
  • Strong understanding of Splunk SPL, search and dashboard optimization
