Senior Litigation Attorney

At the Cuddy Law Firm PLLC, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Litigation Attorney to join our team in New York City and surrounding counties.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled attorney with a strong background in litigation to handle a high volume of cases. As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for conducting client intakes, drafting due process complaints, and litigating cases on both an administrative and federal court level.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client intakes and gather relevant information
• Draft due process complaints and other legal documents
• Litigate cases in both administrative and federal courts
• Work closely with the team to develop case strategies
• Negotiate, research, and communicate effectively with clients and opposing parties

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school
• Member of the New York State Bar in good standing
• Demonstrated interest or experience in litigation is essential
• 1-2 years of practice experience, including courtroom experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, public speaking skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload effectively and efficiently
• Strong computer skills and competency, especially Microsoft Office and Westlaw
• Professional attitude and strong personal ethics

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
