Operating Room Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Swedish Issaquah. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses to ensure a safe and supportive work environment.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least one year of Operating Room Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Certification in Operating Room Nursing.
