Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Support Technician to join our team. As a Field Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to customers in the use and maintenance of our dosing systems equipment. Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and diagnose repair issues with Seko pumps and dosing systems using manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assorted tools over the phone.
• Provide installation and technical support for customers and service companies.
• Develop and maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and customer relations.
• Update manuals.
• Research and answer any technical questions Regional Sales Managers may have.
• Instruct customers in the use and care of Seko Dosing Systems equipment.
• Create and do technical training on products for customers and the sales team.
• On-site installations of our Industrial laundry systems.
• Creates Demo Systems.
• Help with technical component issues on our manufacturing floor.
Requirements:
• Technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Mechanical inclination required – must be able to grasp mechanical concepts, troubleshoot problems, and perform hands-on tasks related to companies' equipment.
• Technical Knowledge: must have a good understanding of mechanical principles, including how machines and systems work, and be knowledgeable about various mechanical components and their functions.
• General electrical or plumbing knowledge preferred.
• Travel is required.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PPT.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
• Working knowledge of computer software.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage difficult customer situations.
• Comfortable presenting to groups.
• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but not necessary.
Salary and Benefits:
• Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
