Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Dover, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Individualized Education Plans
  • Create a positive, engaging, and adaptive classroom environment that supports the academic and social-emotional growth of students.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction as necessary to meet the needs of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and caregivers to build strong partnerships and ensure transparency regarding student progress.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting (K-5 preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to create and maintain a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
