CSPNJ, a leading mental health nonprofit agency, is seeking a full-time Clinical Improvement Specialist. Reporting to the Compliance Director, the Clinical Improvement Specialist ensures high-quality services by monitoring compliance with regulations and enhancing clinical outcomes. This role involves providing training, support, and maintaining records of quality improvement scores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements quality management activities, including data analysis and program auditing, to establish key performance indicators and review policies and procedures.
  • Conducts internal audits/utilization reviews of clinical records to ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation by program staff across all clinical programs.
  • Provides feedback to staff regarding compliance with quality assurance standards as needed.

Salary Information:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.34 for 40 hours per week. Benefits include medical coverage, free DMO dental insurance, and free vision care, as well as six weeks of paid time off and 11 holidays.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology.
  • Possess computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Electronic Health Record systems, DocuSign, Survey Monkey, and other software applications and mobile apps.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively with people at all levels and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
  • Proven organizational skills with strong ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills (oral and written).
  • Able to make and maintain contacts and positive relationships with individuals who receive or have received mental health and/or substance abuse services.
  • Able to work with individuals with mental illness in a caring and professional manner.
  • Valid NJ Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Lived Experience: CSPNJ prioritizes hiring individuals who use their own life experience dealing with mental health/substance use issues to inspire and support others.
