This role involves maintaining product levels and quality control in produce and floral departments.

You will ensure fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed according to company standards and regulatory food safety practices.

Maintain full stock conditions on display racks, tables, and shelves.

Operate pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.

Ensure dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.

Inspect product for quality and maintain quality control and food safety standards.

Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.

Provide friendly customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to complaints.

Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Maintain high sanitary standards when handling raw and uncooked food products.

Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment under supervision.

Cuts and trims product to ensure high-quality presentation and appearance under supervision.

Safely operate and maintain department equipment under supervision.

Able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Report any potential hazards to a supervisor.

Must be 18 years old to operate motorized equipment.

Food Handler certification required.

Typically involves on-the-job training.

Work is generally performed in a retail store.
