St. David's South Austin Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Central Texas, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. Job SummaryThe CVICU Clinical Nurse Coordinator serves as a vital link between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with admission and discharge processes to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to foster a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Supporting employee engagement through operationalizing current nursing strategies and initiatives.

Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid Registered Nurse license.
- An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment start date.
- BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 months of employment start date.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and incentives.
