Job Description

Position Overview

The Mission Command Support Team (MCST) Trainer is a critical role within Valiant Integrated Services, supporting the Army's Mission Command Training Program (MCTSP). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering training and support for Mission Command Systems (MCSs), ensuring our clients receive the highest level of expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Training Delivery: Conduct formal and informal training sessions for MCS operators, providing hands-on instruction and support during collective training events.
  • Training Material Development: Create and adapt training materials, documentation, and procedures to support Gaming and Simulations capabilities.
  • System Architecture: Design voice and data system architectures for unit staff/team collaboration and information sharing within Tactical Operations Center (TOC), Command Post (CP), and War-fighter functional area cell systems/applications architectures.
  • Training Environment Setup: Develop and configure training environments tailored to unit requirements, conduct testing, troubleshooting, and modification of systems as needed.
  • Training Delivery and Support: Deliver single and multi-echelon collective training in accordance with established MTC Training Support Packages (TSPs).
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) courseware documentation, aligned with each PM system TSP.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report directly to the MCST Trainer Lead, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within the team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' Mission Command Systems teaching experience, serving as assistant instructor for the same courseware.
  • Service Background: Minimum 4 years' service in or in support of the Army or other national defense service.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on one or more Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and has operated the system(s).
  • Education: Completion of a course of study leading to a minimum of experience with Army Mission Command Systems (MCSs) and software systems.
  • Certifications: Certified and current with Army training doctrine.
Additional Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
