Nurse Caregiver for Pediatric and Adult Patients

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking caring and energetic Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to work with pediatric or adult patients in a home healthcare setting.

Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services.
- Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
- Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report changes to appropriate physician or supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document effectiveness of intervention.
- Review plan of care and program protocols and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning needs.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical (LPN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Current Health Certificate per facility Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract or state regulation.
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred but novice nurse (less than 1 year) accepted.
