ProCare Therapy is collaborating with a school district in Oak Forest, IL to find a dedicated Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teacher to join their team for the ongoing school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students, ensuring accessibility and understanding of the curriculum.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' specific educational goals and needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment for visually impaired students.
  • Utilize and train students in the use of assistive technologies, such as braille, screen readers, and magnification devices.
