Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous 401(k) matching program.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity requires a Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician/Law Enforcement Co-Responder who can work collaboratively with law enforcement agencies to respond to mental health crises in Gwinnett County. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a related field and be eligible for licensure.

As a Co-Responder, you will perform brief assessments, consult with officers to determine appropriate dispositions, and facilitate training for police officers to increase their competencies in intervening with behavioral health crises. You will also work closely with the Emergency Service Provider to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Briefly assess individuals in crisis and provide recommendations for services or interventions
  • Consult with law enforcement officers to determine the most effective course of action
  • Facilitate training for police officers on responding to behavioral health crises
  • Collaborate with the Emergency Service Provider to ensure effective service delivery
