Clinical Abstractor

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at CGH Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare documentation team, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical dictations from healthcare professionals to create comprehensive patient records.

• Transcribe highly technical medical dictations with precision and accuracy
• Interpret and edit dictations to ensure clarity and completeness
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any discrepancies or unclear information
• Meet productivity standards of 1250 lines per day for full-time employees
• Stay up-to-date with medical terminology and industry developments

• Associate Degree in Medical Transcription or certificate from an accredited program
• Minimum of two years hospital or multi-specialty clinic transcription experience
• Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in medical transcription software
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
