Spurwink Services is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our interdisciplinary team serving adults with serious mental illness and substance use disorders in the Bridgton area.
About the RoleThis full-time salaried position offers a competitive hourly rate of $32-$38, depending on experience. The ACT Team Nurse will work across programs to address primary prevention, health promotion, and population health by:
- Providing nursing consultation to staff, interpreting health data, and helping to integrate health and wellness goals into client treatment plans.
- Nursing care includes a focus on community outreach, community integration, education, and time-limited patient-centered care aiming towards promoting independence in managing and maintaining optimal health.
- Improving communication and collaboration with all care providers across the healthcare spectrum.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in community health nursing, family nursing, pediatric nursing, hospital, or psychiatric nursing, with a minimum of three years of post-licensure experience. Direct service experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, and developmental disabilities is preferred.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent organizational and time management skills, be computer literate, and able to navigate an electronic medical health record. Knowledge of psychosocial, mental health, and vocational assessments, counseling theory such as MI, CBT, and DBT, physical and psychological effects of mental illness and substance abuse is also desirable.
