Senior Business Intelligence Leader

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Intelligence (BI) leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving our BI strategy and vision, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within the BI Platform team.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic roadmap for our BI platforms and systems, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Continuously assess the BI landscape, identifying opportunities for improvement or new tools, with existing tools being IBI WebFOCUS, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand data requirements and ensure the BI strategy aligns with these needs.
  • Lead the BI Platform team, promoting a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Establish and enforce technical standards and data management policies to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Drive the adoption of BI tools and systems through training, support, and leadership.
  • Monitor the performance of our BI systems, ensuring they perform as expected, and carry out troubleshooting and upgrades as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in BI technology, leveraging this knowledge to inform our BI strategic roadmap.
  • Advocate for a data-driven culture within our organization, championing the use of BI tools and systems to drive decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Mastery of Business Intelligence concepts with the ability to articulate these concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience with BI tools such as IBI WebFOCUS, Tableau, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Specific experience in managing the integration of BI tools with key data sources, particularly Snowflake.
  • Proven experience in business data modeling, metadata structure, and understanding of key business processes.
  • Expertise in SQL and experience with Big Data technologies and Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
