About the Job

We are seeking an experienced ERP System Developer and Analyst to join our team at ADM. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom changes to our ERP system, SAGE X3 4GL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with users to understand business needs and produce specifications for required changes
  • Evaluate solutions available using delivered functionality vs custom solutions to determine best alternative
  • Design, develop, build, and test custom changes to the ERP System – SAGE X3 4GL
  • Post-production deployment testing and acceptance of custom changes with Application Service Provider
  • Design, develop and troubleshoot various reporting requirements using Crystal Reports, SQL Queries and BI Tools
  • Participate and lead in various projects to continually improve efficiency and security of ERP system
  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of the ERP Application
  • Troubleshooting ERP application technical issues. Respond to support calls from within the organization.
  • Review Application patches, fixes, and tools updates with customizations prior to installation
  • Work directly with outside vendors to map interface data transmission when Applicable
  • On the behalf of end users, work directly with outside vendors for testing requirements, new functionality, and support.
  • Support administration and testing of ERP backup and DR Plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years' experience working in the IT Development field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Highly independent, able to work with little supervision, working close with business users at multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Experience supporting all areas within manufacturing a plus
  • Experience with multiple software systems that interact with each other
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, SQL Queries
  • Prior Experience with Sage X3 4GL or other 4GLs
  • Prior experience with VB.net or Java scripting
