AutoZone Delivery Driver Job Description

As a Delivery Driver at AutoZone, you will play a vital role in ensuring our commercial customers receive their parts on time. This is a unique opportunity to work in an essential industry, serving the motoring public while enjoying a stable and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport parts to commercial customers, loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles.
  • Pick up returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
  • Maintain a safe driving and working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist customers in the store between deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle cash and charge transactions, following company policy.
  • Maintain product knowledge and current promotions through AutoZone systems and information resources.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license, meeting AutoZone's driver requirements.
  • Ability to lift and deliver merchandise.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
