Facilities Manager Assistant

At ResponsiveEd, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Manager Assistant to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our staff and visitors.
About the RoleThis position requires an individual who can work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and be comfortable with repetitive physical activities such as cleaning and moving equipment.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the facility, including offices, common areas, and restrooms.
- Perform routine upkeep of exterior areas and interior spaces, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Complete non-routine cleaning tasks as assigned, including shampooing carpets, stripping and refinishing floors, and polishing furniture and fixtures.
- Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up.
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- High school degree or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in custodial or facilities management preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others and work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical activities.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The employee will be exposed to various temperatures, dust, and chemicals while performing duties. The ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We strive to provide a fair compensation package that reflects the value of our employees' contributions to the organization.
