Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team in Fort Worth, TX. This is a full-time night shift role where you will work 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week. As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in providing fast-paced, high-quality care to a diverse patient population in an environment that fosters learning, collaboration, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients, including trauma, cardiac, and pediatric populations.
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patients' conditions, ensuring swift intervention when needed.
  • Work closely with physicians, healthcare staff, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
  • Utilize your critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure patient and staff well-being.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding care, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an Emergency Department as an RN.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
